THOUGHTS ON UKRAINE

Where have you gone Angela?
Dear Friends,
I would like to share my thoughts with you during this global upheaval. Eight years ago, when Putin invaded Crimea, Europe decided to do nothing. They let Obama down and told him to leave Europe alone. We are now paying the price for this decision.
In my opinion, Putin didn't step up his attacks, he feared Angela Merkel. Putin was so afraid of meeting with Angela Merkel, he needed the protection of his dogs (see photo below). She was the one to stop him from proceeding to take over all of Ukraine. Ironically, Putin is not afraid of Biden, Scholz, Macron, or any other men on Earth. But, for some reason, this ‘macho man’ sure feared a woman.
The first art piece (in the middle below), created 8 years ago, shows the sort of dealing and wheeling that takes place behind the scenes.
My heart goes out to the People of Ukraine. Hopefully, the West and Europe will finally wake up and support Ukraine in its struggle for freedom.
For the longest time I thought that Putin understood the dynamic of the world race for supremacy. Alas, he proved me wrong. The second art piece below (on the right) shows that while the West and Russia are fighting and killing each other, China is taking over the world.
European leaders better learn not to trust any tyrant - particularly Putin. Europe must end its dependency on oil and other resources from Russia. They should never allow anyone like Putin to blackmail them. Stop dealing with Russia as soon as possible. This is the only way to punish Putin for his aggression and his disregard for human life.
I salute the courage and bravery of all Russians who are risking their lives demonstrating against Putin’s policies and crimes. As for the Ukrainian people, may your sacrifice and defiance keep you free. Eventually, the Russian people will be inspired to rise and revolt against this delusional despot.
